Ligue 1 side Montpellier are exploring the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Siaka Tiene, according to L’Equipe.
La Paillade are set to stay without full-back Henri Bedimo and they believe the Ivorian defender would be a very good replacement.
Siaka Tiene looks set to leave Parc des Princes when his contract expires at the end of the month and there is every chance he will be staying in France.
Marseille are also keeping close tabs on the 31-year-old as they look to sign a player who would provide competition for Jeremy Morel.
Siaka Tiene has spent his entire career in France, playing for Saint Etienne, Reims, Valenciennes and Paris Saint-Germain.
He joined the Saints in a cut-price deal in the summer of 2010 and has since made 54 league appearances for the club.
Tiene has, however, mostly been on the fringes last season, having appeared in just 2 Ligue 1 matches, while making two substitute appearances in domestic cups.
