Montreal Impact are close to agreeing a deal for Waasland-Beveren defender Rudy Camacho, France Football can reveal.
The Canadian side is coached by former Lyon boss Remi Garde, and he seems to have had a crucial role in the capture of the 27-year-old centre-back.
According to reports, the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement, with Camacho set to sign a four-year deal with the club.
The experienced defender moved to Belgium after representing French minnows Lyon Duchere and Sedan, going on to make 62 league appearances for Waasland-Beveren.
Montreal Impact had earlier reinforced their back line with Rod Fanni, who joined on a free transfer after leaving Marseille.
