Morata confirms he wants to stay at Atletico

“I have been clear that I want to be here,”

“It’s not even in my head to leave this club. I want it to be resolved as soon as possible, I’m happy here, I want to be here for all the years I have left as a professional. As long as the people love me and are happy with my work, I want to be here. I have found happiness here, I’m where I want to be.”

Those are the words of Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, who has confirmed that he wants to stay at Atletico as opposed to returning to Chelsea. Morata has been on a great run of form ever since making the jump back over to La Liga, which serves as a direct comparison to his time in the Premier League – which was marred by a series of issues.

Either way, it seems like Atletico (and Chelsea) have a big decision on their hands.
