Inter president Massimo Moratti has revealed that Carlos Tevez was too expensive for the Neroazzurri.
The Manchester City forward is now on the verge of joining Milan, but Inter also made an attempt to sign the Argentine few weeks ago.
“I’m not disappointed about Tevez,” Massimo Moratti was quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’m presuming that Milan’s negotiations for Tevez are along the same lines as the terms which were discussed with us.
“We considered those as unacceptable. Nevertheless, we will do something during the January transfer window.”
