Moratti denies interest in Balotelli
Inter president Massimo Moratti has rejected speculations linking the Neroazzurri with a move for Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli.
The Italian forward is nearing the exit door at the Emirates after completely disrupting the harmony in the squad and he is heavily linked with a return to Serie A.
Even Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini recently confirmed that Balotelli could be sold at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old was subsequently paired with former club Inter, but the Neroazzurri president has virtually ruled out a bid for the controversial forward.
“We have been following what has been happening,” Massimo Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.
“Technically speaking, Balotelli is a good player, but we have made no move for him and, to be honest, he’s not in our plans.”
Balotelli joined Manchester City in a €25 million deal from Inter in August 2010, but his career at Etihad Stadium has been marred by incidents both on and off the pitch.
The Italian clashed with coach Roberto Mancini and several of his teammates on numerous occasions this season and everything suggests that the Citizens will cash in on him in the summer transfer window.
