(GSM) – Internazionale president Massimo Moratti revealed he won’t be surprised if Mario Balotelli would join Manchester City.

The chairman hinted at the club’s philosophy to remain financially healthy after reporters asked him about Balotelli’s situation.

Inter are said to have already rejected a €30 million offer from City for the 19-year-old striker.

“I swear that I don’t know anything about it,” said Moratti.

“You can invent what you like because I don’t have any information. I had other things to do this morning.”

Moratti was then pressed further on whether City are interested in Balotelli to which he replied: “I imagine so, but don’t ask me because I’ve had other things to do.

“The company’s philosophy is that of not having any problems in terms of the club’s balance sheet in a couple of years’ time.

“We will do what’s necessary to get to this result.”
