Inter president Massimo Moratti believes the overall scoreline in the Milan derby didn’t do his side’s performance any justice as he insists the Nerazzurri should have won by several goals.

“I am not sure about Adriano’s goal, there could have been a handball, but we had such a determination that I think we would have been triumphant in any case,” Moratti told Il Corriere Dello Sport. “In the past the derby ended 4-3 once, but I think the game on Sunday should have been 7-0 to us”.

“We should have won by more, but the most important thing is that we took home a positive result, and we did this by showing strength and determination”, he added.
