Inter president Massimo Moratti has moved to deny reports that the Neroazzurri squad will undergo major changes next summer.
The doubts were raised over the quality of the squad following Inter’s Serie A and Champions League failures, but Moratti insists he still trusts the current crop of players.
“I hear stories that we are going to sell big players every summer, but Inter have a strong base and it’ll be sad to break that up,” Moratti said.
“We’ll take a look at what we can do in the market. We’d like to lower the age of the squad, but this Inter is not at the end of an era.”
Moratti also ruled out any moves for Jose Mourinho or Carlos Tevez.
“I haven’t heard from Mourinho lately and he presently works for Real Madrid.
“Tevez? I saw on television that he was recently in Milan, but there is absolutely nothing between us.”
