Moratti starts search for Benitez replacement

Rafa Benitez could lose his job at Inter even if he wins the Club World Cup as Massimo Moratti has started the search for his replacement.

Inter president is not satisfied with team’s results this season after the Neroazzurri have suffered a couple of embarrassing defeats in both Serie A and Champions League, and he is lining up a replacement for Rafa Benitez.

Moratti’s number one target is England coach Fabio Capello, but Diego Simeone, Walter Zenga and Luciano Spalletti are also in the mix.

There are some reports suggesting the new coach would only take over the team until the summer when he would be replaced by a world-class tactician.

The best case scenario would be to bring Jose Mourinho back to San Siro or appoint Pep Guardiola should he decide to leave Barcelona at the end of the season.
