(GSM) – Inter owner Massimo Moratti promises to offer club manager Jose Mourinho a summer spending spree if the Portuguese stays at the club. The Daily Mail reckons Moratti is ready to splash the cash on a wish-list of summer targets.

It is believed that Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is on the top of Mourinho’s shortlist and that Moratti will do everything in his power to try and lure Gerrard to Giuseppe Meazza.

The former Chelsea manager has been outspoken about his unhappiness in Italy despite leading Inter to the brink of a fabulous treble this season.

But with reports linking Mourinho with a move to Real Madrid, Moratti wants to keep hold of his manager and could use Gerrard – among other players – as bait.
