Morelos reveals EPL ambition

Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos harbours an ambition of one day playing in the Premier League, according to Talksport.

The twenty-two-year old penned a new contract with the Scottish Premiership outfit after playing in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Celtic in the Old Firm Derby.

He has spoken of his admiration for manager Steven Gerrard, who took charge at Ibrox this summer but has stated that his dream is to play in England’s top flight.

The Colombia U20 international signed from Finish side HJK in the summer of 2017 and has since racked up fifty-six appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty-four goals.

His tally of eighteen last season saw him finish as joint-top scorer with Josh Windass, who moved to Wigan Athletic in the summer.

That defeat at Celtic Park last time out was Rangers’ first of the season and leaves them seven points behind leaders Hearts ahead of this weekend’s international break.
