Moreno’s agent talks up Real Madrid link

Alberto Moreno’s agent has claimed the Liverpool full-back would welcome a move to Real Madrid, according to the Daily Star.

The Spain international was linked with a move to the Bernabeu last week, as the La Liga giants look to solve their left back crisis.

Current first choice Marcelo is struggling with injury and Rafael Benitez is on the lookout for reinforcements ahead of the transfer window opening next month.

Moreno moved to Anfield from Sevilla in the summer of 2014, and has since racked up sixty-one appearances in all competitions, with his two goals so far coming in league wins over both Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur last season.

He has been capped three times for his country, with his last international outing coming in a 2-0 friendly victory over Bolivia eighteen months ago.

Liverpool face Southampton in the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup this evening and can be backed at 17/10 to win the match inside ninety minutes.
