West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has insisted that Ravel Morrison can have a future at the club if he puts the work in, according to the Express.
The 21 year old spent the second half of last season on loan with Queens Park Rangers, despite impressing for the Hammers before Christmas.
His six goals in seventeen Championship appearances for Harry Redknapp’s side helped them on their way to promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs, though he was an unused substitute in the final victory over Derby County at Wembley.
He had looked set for a campaign on the fringes of the West Ham first team at best, but he now has the backing of his manager and members of the club’s board.
Sam Allardyce’s side begin the forthcoming campaign at home to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, and the home win can be backed at a generous price of 12/5.
