Moses deal to Chelsea could be getting closer

The Daily Mail are reporting that Wigan are close to signing Arsenal’s Ryo Miyaichi on loan, which could see Victor Moses’ proposed move to Chelsea go through.

Miyaichi would be a like for like replacement for the winger who looks set to join the Champions League winners.

Moses was influential in keeping the Latics in the English Premier League last season but now seems keen to take his career to the next level.

At Stamford Bridge the Nigerian international would of course be playing in Europe’s elite club competition as well as making a challenge for the league title.

Chelsea have already had a bid for Moses rejected but now could make a fresh offer – one that Wigan couldn’t refuse.

Miyaichi is still getting used to life in England after joining from Japan and Arsene Wenger believes that a season playing regular first team football could help him settle.

He played some of pre-season but not enough to mean that he is match fit so time on the pitch is what he needs, something that would be likely to happen at Wigan.

The move for Moses has gone on for some time now and Chelsea will ideally want a deal done before the Premier League campaign gets underway this weekend.
