French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that midfielders Thiago Motta and Adrien Rabiot will remain at Parc des Princes after all.
The two players were heavily linked with a January exit as they were not entirely satisfied with their status at the club, but the latest reports suggest they have agreed to remain at least until the end of the season.
With PSG officials not prepared to let the duo leave and no concrete offers arriving during the January window, Motta and Rabiot have come to terms with staying at the club.
The former Italy international has been almost ever present for the Saints this season, but he clashed with club chiefs near the end of 2014 and expressed his desire to leave.
Meanwhile, Adrien Rabiot appears determined to quit Parc des Princes despite recently extending his deal until June 2019, with the youngster reportedly unhappy by the lack of playing time.
