Italian midfielder Thiago Motta could be leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, according to his official representative.
The 32-year-old appears to be unhappy by the latest criticism directed towards him and is reportedly thinking about the Parc des Princes exit.
Motta’s agent has moved to reject claims suggesting the club chiefs are not satisfied with the midfielder’s latest performances, but hinted his client would be ready to leave if that were the case.
“PSG leaders have never told me that they were not happy with Thiago,” agent Alessandro Canovi told Journal du Dimanche.
“But, if that is the case, why wait until June to part ways. There is a transfer window now.”
Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that Motta has already submitted a transfer request as he doesn’t feel truly appreciated in Paris.
Thiago Motta joined PSG from Inter Milan in January 2012 and has since made a total of 74 league appearances for the Saints, scoring 6 goals.
Despite sitting in third place in the Ligue 1 standings, Paris Saint-Germain remain 1/3 favourites to defend the league trophy.
