Mount wants to stay at Chelsea

According to a recent report from Evening Standard, Mason Mount has revealed his intention to stay at Chelsea this summer.

The Englishman’s future had been somewhat speculated over but now, he’s confirmed that contract renewal talks are going to start ‘soon’ and that he’s very happy to be keeping his place in the first team.

The last couple of years have seen Mount rise up through the ranks and become a prominent member of the first team at Stamford Bridge but as tends to be the case in English football, questions immediately begin to be raised when contract talks are discussed.

The 23-year-old still has a long time to go before reaching his full potential and the Blues, unsurprisingly, want to do everything in their power to be a part of that.
