Mourinho admits Khedira interest

(GSM) – Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed the club’s interest in signing Stuttgart midfielder Sami Khedira. The player impressed at the World Cup with fine displays in the Germany shirt.

Both Khedira’s club and agent were have denied that a deal has been sealed. However, Mourinho confirmed that Real Madrid’s interest in signing the 23-year-old, who has one year left on his current contract.

“Khedira interests us,” Mourinho told Portuguese news agency LUSA.

“He has enormous potential. We want players who are willing to learn and improve.”

According to reports from Spain, Stuttgart would happily cash in on the highly-rated midfielder for 10 million euros.
