Inter coach Jose Mourinho was delighted with his team’s form after their 3-0 victory away to Lazio on Saturday.
The Nerazzurri have a six-point lead at the top of the table following their victory last night.
“It is not easy to win, even if a team is strong. We are strong and the players have a fantastic spirit, so I want to publicly thank this squad, not just the XI who go on the field,” he said.
“The most important thing in football is balance, both psychologically and tactically. That is how you find a real team and that is what we are.”
He continued: “It is only December and so not even half-way to the Scudetto, but with my experience of winning titles in Portugal and England, I am convinced this is a great side.
“Having said that, I want to keep calm and not get too ahead of myself, as football can turn around and bite you. I don’t want to be bitten. I’m not interested in being the Winter Champion, I want to win it in May.”
