Various newspapers and media outlets report this morning that Jose Mourinho has spoken out about his former striker, Didier Drogba.
The former Chelsea boss has branded Drogba as a diver. The current Inter Milan manager said: “I am no longer Chelsea coach and I do not have to defend them any more but I think it is correct if I say Drogba is a diver.”
I’m all for managers standing up for their players but didn’t Mourinho defend Drogba vehemently against these type of accusations? Surely if a manager thinks one of his players is a cheat he should be doing what he can to stop him doing it, rather than denying it?
