Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has received high praise from coach Jose Mourinho, who feels the Brazilian has reignited his career.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has been in excellent form for the Madrid outfit this La Liga season, winning back a starting spot Mourinho’s side and being recalled to the Brazil national squad.
After being plagued by injuries, former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager Mourinho feels Kaka is getting back to his best.
“I’ve known the real Kaka,” Mourinho said.
“He was a fantastic player when I was in Italy. Real Madrid have never had that version of him and he’s finally found physical balance above all.”
“He enjoys playing football. He is strong and is good at changing the pace to the game. It’s only natural for him to return to the Brazilian national team and I’m happy for him because he’s earned it through hard work.
“Football should rejoice at Kaka’s return.”
The former AC Milan man started just 12 matches for Real in the 2010/11 campaign, and is enjoying his extended run this season.
“Things are turning out well for me. I hadn’t played 90 minutes for a long time. I feel well both physically and personally. I’m gradually growing more confident,” Kaka said.
Kaka is expected to feature on Saturday as Real take on Real Sociedad in San Sebastian.
