Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is ready to offload keeper Iker Casillas in the summer, according to Catalan daily Sport.
The Portuguese manager has clashed with his goalkeeper on several occasions this season and it appears that he is prepared to cash in on the Spain international at the end of the season.
According to Sport, Mourinho is already shortlisting potential replacements for the 30-year-old shot-stopper.
Sporting Lisbon keeper Rui Patricio and Chelsea hotshot Thibaut Courtois are two up and coming players on the list, but they already boast a lot of experience at the highest level.
Other targets include Real Zaragoza’s Roberto, Osasuna goalie Andres Fernandez and Germany international Tim Wiese.
Should Jose Mourinho go for experience, Werder Bremen shot-stopper Tim Wiese will be the obvious choice as he is set to be available at a cut-back price in the summer.
The 30-year-old has already informed club chiefs that he plans to leave the club at the end of the season, and an offer from Real Madrid would be hard to resist.
