According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Jose Mourinho will not be taking over as the new Juventus manager. The Portuguese boss had initially been endorsed for the role by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, who played under Jose back at Real Madird. Juventus are currently on the search for a new boss in the wake of the news that Massimiliano Allegri will indeed be leaving the club at the end of the current season. However, Mourinho is said to be out of their price range, ironically due to the money they spent on Ronaldo last summer.
Cristiano seemed to believe that Mourinho could be the answer to them making a further push in the Champions League next season, but up to this point, it seems as if it isn’t going to happen.
Either way, it should be an interesting few weeks for the club as their search for a new manager continues.
