Mourinho v The Press. There’s only one winner.

According to the Daily Mirror, Jose Mourinho has lost none of his entertaining qualities when it comes to dealing with the press.

A particularly persistent journalist was beginning to annoy Mourinho at a press briefing and the manager offered the reporter the chance to select the Inter team for their Champions League game against Werder Bremen last night.

The journalist came back quickly with, “I would if you gave me part of the nine million euros you earn.”

Mourinho replied with a straight face, “It’s not nine, it’s eleven and with sponsors it comes to fourteen.”
