Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has informed Real Madrid of the asking price for goalkeeper David De Gea, Marca can reveal.
With the Spaniard determined to move to Santiago Bernabeu, the Red Devils do not plan to stand in his way, but the boss wants to secure the best possible deal for the club.
Therefore, Mourinho has told the Real Madrid officials that it would either take €75m or €25m plus Alvaro Morata to secure De Gea’s signature.
Even though the talented forward is believed to be on the verge of moving to AC Milan, there is still time for Man Utd and Chelsea to try and hijack the deal, and the ball is now in Real Madrid’s court.
Despite playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema, Morata has performed much better than the Frenchman this season, bagging 15 goals in mere 14 La Liga starts.
The 24-year-old is now set to quit los Blancos for greener pastures and it only remains to be seen where he will end up.
