According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho wants midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to remain at the club beyond the summer transfer window. When he first arrived in North London, the expectation was that Ndombele would be able to quickly establish himself as a real force to be reckoned with in the Premier League. Alas, following mixed messages from all sides regarding his future, the Frenchman could be on his way out of English football quicker than most had anticipated.
The two clubs that are at the front of the queue in the race to sign him are Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, both of whom obviously have more than enough money to get a deal done.
Still, with Mourinho being so intent on wanting to keep him – if this report is to be believed – you’d have to imagine it would take a substantial offer to lure him away from the club.
