Mourinho wants Perisic at Tottenham

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing Ivan Perisic to the club.

The 31-year-old is currently out on loan with Bayern Munich from Inter Milan, with Mourinho seemingly believing that the Croatian could bring some kind of stability to proceedings in North London.

Mourinho has had a rocky start to life as Tottenham manager, and that’s putting it lightly. If he wants to try and turn things around in a big way then he’ll need to have a strong summer transfer window, because if he doesn’t, fans may continue to turn on him.

While it may seem odd to be talking about transfers given what’s been happening in the world across the last six months, it does feel like Spurs will be one of the busiest clubs during the window. After all, they’ll need to fight hard if they want to get back into the Champions League.
