Jose Mourinho, or the newly dubbed ‘Great One’ has not been appointed at Inter yet; however the Italian media is already reporting transfer rumours as if he were there. The most recent news to come out of Milan is that Inter’s star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be sold. The Great One will not consider the Swede as part of his plans when he will finally take over at San Siro, reports Goal.com.
The Swede has helped Inter to win two consecutive League Championships but he will not be entirely upset when he will be shown the door in the near future. Strikers of Zlatan’s stature will always find employment that pays to their liking and Barcelona is rumoured to be courting the Inter striker. Reports earlier this week suggested that a swap deal involving Samuel Eto’o could be in the making.
It is unclear whether Mourinho will want to be stuck with a former superstar who has been plagued by injuries in recent years (read Samuel Eto’o) or whether he will take the money and look for another striker which will be more to his liking, even though there is always the chance that he will not be available.
