Focusing specifically on the Man Utd tie, José Mourinho was asked about what it would mean to knock out Ferguson and the Red Devils, a team he had a great rivalry with when he was manager at Chelsea.

“We have Man Utd, but it doesn’t give me a special pleasure to beat someone in particular. We were happy with the draw because it is very easy for me to prepare for the game psycologically. I don’t need to motivate my players. The smell of the game and the adrenaline is in the air”, The Special One said.

“We know we have a very difficult opponents, but I am 100 per cent sure that they know they have a difficult game too. They will not come here with the same attacking approach. They will change their style more than us. We will play basically the same way we play in our championship, with a 4-4-2 with Adriano and Ibrahimovic in attack. We have no fear to say it”.
