(GSM) – Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move away from Internazionale but club president Massimo Moratti insists the Portuguese manager will stay at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Mourinho has been linked with a move to Real Madrid as well as well as a return to the Premier League.

According to Spanish media, the Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, is keen to lure Mourinho to the Bernabeu to replace Manuel Pellegrini in the summer.

However, Moratti is adamant to play down the exit rumours.

“Mourinho has a contract with Inter,” Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport. “But besides this, I am certain that he will happily remain.

“Mourinho is a great professional. He is a pedantic, serious person who loves work and sacrifice: he also has an important salary, but he has deserved it,” added the Inter president who’s hoping to keep Mourinho at the club for a long time.

“He still has a three or four-year contract. I believe that there is no other route for him but Inter. Then we’ll try to win and renew our relationship.”
