According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Jose Mourinho will only join AS Roma as their new manager if they’re able to qualify for the Champions League. Mourinho has been out of a job for a few months now, with many fans and pundits alike initially expecting him to make an immediate return to management. That hasn’t wound up being the case, though, and instead, the Portuguese boss has been left to sit back and analyse his options. Paris Saint-Germain is another club that has been touted as a potential destination for him, but when it comes to Roma, there have been reports that the Italian club have actually offered him a three year contract.
Given that there are reports of Celtic also offering him the chance to become their new manager, though, it really is anyone’s guess regarding where he’s going to end up.
Will he even return to management at all? Well, probably.
