Mouyokolo to join Hull

Boulogne defender Steven Mouyokolo is set for a summer switch to Premier League side Hull.

The Tigers have agreed to pay around £1.8million for the 22-year-old, who will stay on loan at the French side until 1st July.

“There is a time when we can no longer block the progress of a player,” said Boulogne president Jacques Wattez.

“If Hull had not accepted our request, it wouldn’t have happened. But we need to consider the future of our club.

“Of course we lose a good player, but his departure will enhance us.

“We could have waited until the end of the season, but sport is not immune from injury, in this case there would then have been no transfer.”
