Moyes eager to re-sign Landon Donovan

Everton boss David Moyes admits that he is interested in bringing La Galaxy striker Landon Donovan back to Goodison Park.

The USA international largely impressed during his loan spell at Everton some two years back, and Moyes is desperate to sign the 29-year-old on another loan deal.

The Scottish manager will try to work out another loan deal with La Galaxy when the MLS season ends later this month.

“It’s something we will probably try and look to see if there’s an interest,” Moyes was quoted as saying in The Sun.

“He was popular here, and we could do with some speed and width on the right.

“It wouldn’t be something we’d be against, that’s for sure. It’s unrealistic to sign him on a permanent deal, though.”
