As the dust begins to settle at St James’ Park and Newcastle begin their search for a sixth manager in four years, the bookies and pundits are all beginning to come up with their list of candidates.
The first names in the frame are Everton boss David Moyes and former Juventus coach Didier Deschamps.
Apparently, Moyes was previously mentioned as a possible successor to Sam Allardyce when he left Newcastle in January and Everton have had well publicised difficulties of their own recently.
Deschamps is cuurently available and is, of course, a former teammate of Dennis Wise.
There will be many more names linked to the job over the coming hours and days, but a bit of speculation is always good!
