David Moyes is confident that Adnan Januzaj will sign a new contract with Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.
The eighteen year old fully underlined his potential with a superb match-winning double at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, where United avoided a third straight league defeat against Sunderland.
He will be out of contract at the end of the season, and neighbours Manchester City are already considering an offer that would see the midfielder triple his wages.
However, the former Everton boss is “not too worried” about the players situation, as he believes that United is the best option available to him.
There is also a tussle for his services at international level, as the Belgian is eligible to play for a number of nations including Belgium, Turkey, Serbia and Albania while England could be added to that list in the future due to rules regarding his residence.
