Moyes set for triple Saints swoop

Manchester United manager David Moyes is considering a triple swoop on Southampton when the transfer window reopens, according to the Mail Online.

Full back Luke Shaw has be regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford, and now Adam Lallana and Morgan Schneiderlin have emerged as targets as the champions look to rebuild their squad this summer.

The south coast club are adamant that they will not be selling any of their young stars, though their stance may have to be altered amid increasing concern regarding their finances.

Shaw, and in particular Lallana have a great chance of being included in Roy Hodgson’s squad for this summer’s World Cup finals, while French-born Schneiderlin, who has been with the Saints for six seasons, may himself one day wear the Three Lions having not yet won received a full cap for Les Bleus.

United face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League quarter final tie at the Allianz Arena tomorrow evening, and are priced at 6/1 to qualify after last week’s 1-1 draw in Manchester.
