According to a recent report from The Telegraph, David Moyes is under pressure to turn things around at West Ham United.
The Hammers have endured a poor start to their Premier League campaign that currently leaves them in the relegation zone. While there’s no immediate sense of panic in East London, Moyes reportedly needs to inspire a big turnaround in form and do so before the World Cup, or else his position may be under threat.
The former Everton and Manchester United boss has led the club into Europe on two separate occasions and last season, got them all the way to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Alas, they’ve spent big in the summer and because of that, there isn’t going to be as much leeway given – which goes to show you how quickly great moments can be forgotten in football, even from just a few short months ago.
