Thomas Mueller has insisted that he has no plans to leave Bayern Munich, despite speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.

Mueller was instrumental in Bayern’s incredible treble win last season, as they lifted the UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB Pokal titles.

The Germany international notched 22 goals in those competitions, to once again enhance his reputation as one of the standout players in Europe at the moment.

That form has reportedly caught the attention of plenty of admirers, with United believed to be among those in the Premier League interested in trying to tempt Mueller – who came through the Bayern youth system – away from the Allianz Arena.

However, while he acknowledges that he has had interest from elsewhere, the 23-year-old insists that Bayern is the only club for him.

“There are always enquiries, especially after a season like that,” he told Kicker. “It’s an acknowledgement of my performance.

“However, I’m not thinking about leaving Bayern after this season.”
