Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg are ready to invest a significant amount of money to sign the Barcelona starlet Munir El Haddadi.
The forward has been transfer-listed by the Catalan giants and Zenit is believed to have already contacted Barcelona over a possible summer deal.
The Catalunya Radio programme Tot Costa suggests that new Zenit coach Roberto Mancini has identified Munir El Haddadi as one of the top summer transfer targets, adding that the Russian heavyweights are willing to invest €20 million and meet Barca’s asking price for the youngster in order to acquire his services.
The 21-year-old forward spent last season on loan at Valencia, but Los Che showed no interest to extend his temporary stay or to make it permanent.
Munir El Haddadi managed the total of 33 competitive appearances for Valencia last season. He scored six goals during that time and made a modest contribution to Valencia’s 12th-place la Liga finish.
