Barcelona’s Munir El Haddadi is very likely on his way out of the Catalan club. The striker’s contract expires after this season, and although negotiations about a new deal have been had, they’ve been unsuccessful for a year and a half now, and it’s not very likely anything will change between now and next summer.
According to Sport, Munir is much wanted in Seville. Sevilla FC have tried to sign him last summer after he spent the previous two season on loan at Valencia and Alaves, but Barcelona decided they need him this term and refused to do business. Sevilla remain interested in his services, but they are set to face some stiff competition in the form of their city rivals – Real Betis.
Betis coach Quique Setien is apparently very keen on adding Munir to his ranks in the summer, and the 22-year-old will be free to discuss a potential deal for the summer with either club from January 1.
