Former Everton defender Shkodran Mustafi is reportedly on the radar of Borussia Dortmund, Superdeporte has revealed.
The Millionaires expect to stay without one of Mats Hummels or Neven Subotic in the summer and they see the Germany starlet as a perfect replacement.
According to Superdeporte, Valencia are well aware of Dortmund’s interest even though the Bundesliga side have yet to come forward with an official proposal.
Shkodran Mustafi joined los Che in the summer from Sampdoria, after winning the 2014 World Cup title with Germany, and he quickly developed into an important player at Mestalla.
The 22-year-old established a very good partnership with Nicolas Otamendi, and even scored 3 goals in 19 La Liga starts.
Mustafi has a €50 million release clause in his current deal, and it would take a substantial proposal to prize him away from Mestalla.
Los Che play struggling Cordoba on the road next weekend and have been made 17/20 favourites to claim maximum points.
