Fiorentina forward Adrian Mutu has vowed to remain at the club for a long time despite speculation linking him with a summer move.
The Romanian missed the big part of the season due to a doping ban, but has been an integral part of the squad upon his return.
“What do I see in my future? I want to stay with Fiorentina for a long time,” Mutu told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“I have decided to be a good boy and will make decisions only with my club.”
Mutu than turned to the derby game against Juventus.
“The game against Juventus is a huge affair. Absurdly, Fiorentina could even get relegated, but a win over Juventus is worth more than three points.
“Besides, in my view it’s not over yet, as we are behind the Bianconeri and can still catch them. We just need to play with pride.”
