M’Villa drops Real Madrid hint; Robben set to agree new Bayern deal

M’Villa drops Real Madrid hint

Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila has added fuel to speculations that he is set to leave the club at the end of the season by admitting he is interested in joining one of the big European clubs that are after him.

The France international is currently one of the hottest commodities in Europe and Rennes coach Frederic Antonetti recently confirmed that the player was set to leave the club next summer.

The player has now revealed that he is flattered by the reported interest from Real Madrid, Arsenal and Inter.

“Inter, Arsenal, Real … I will take the fun everywhere!,” M’Vila told Canal +. “These are great clubs.

“The important thing for me is getting playing time for the France team.”

The 21-year-old then responded to speculations linking him with a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

“Mourinho calling me? He does not even have my number. But play at Real? Yeah, it would be an absolute blast!

“It would be great to play with Kaka and Benzema.”

Robben set to agree new Bayern deal

Dutch winger Arjen Robben will pledge his future to Bayern Munich at the end of April, Bild understands.

The 28-year-old has just over a year left on his deal at Alianz Arena, which led to speculations that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

The player himself expressed his interest in moving to English Premier League, but it appears that he will not be leaving Munich any time soon.

According to German newspaper Bild, Arjen Robben is set to sign a two-year extension with the Bavarians.

The Dutch international has agreed in principle to sign a new contract at Alianz Arena, but the talks regarding contract terms won’t start until the end of April.

Bayern chiefs plan to meet with the player and his father Hans, who is also acting as Robben’s representative, at the end of the month.

That basically means that interested clubs have another month or so to persuade the player into leaving Germany, but summer exit no longer looks like a realistic possibility.

Ajax win race for Serbian wonderkid

Ajax are set to sign Serbian youngster Dejan Meleg from Vojvodina, De Telegraaf has revealed.

The 17-year-old midfielder is widely regarded as one of the most talented players in European football and he has so far attracted attention from a number of high-profile clubs.

Despite not making a single appearance for Vojvodina senior squad, the young Serb has already been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

However, De Telegraaf claims that Ajax are on the verge of signing the talented midfielder.

Dejan Meleg admits he is delighted by the prospect of joining the Amsterdammers.

“Ajax are a big club and are known for giving young players a chance,” Meleg told De Telegraaf.

Seeing that Meleg has no professional contract with Vojvodina, Ajax can sign him virtually for free, with the Serbian club only to be compensated for training costs.

In case the transfer is agreed, the player will sign a contract with Ajax when he turns 18 in October and will be free to feature for the Dutch giants from January 2013.
