According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Nabil Fekir’s representatives have pulled out of a potential deal with Real Betis as they are expecting a major bid from a big European club to come in shortly. Fekir has been heavily linked with a series of major teams for a very long time now, with many questioning how Lyon have been able to hold onto him for so long. Alas, it seems to have done his development the world of good, as he continues to get better and better with each and every passing game.
One club who have shown notable interest in Fekir in the past is European champions Liverpool, but it doesn’t seem as if they’re the ones who are interested in the idea of putting forward an offer. There’s certainly a place for Fekir in Liverpool’s first team squad, but it just doesn’t feel like they’d pay what is required to sign him due to the fact that he probably wouldn’t get straight into the starting XI.
