NAC held by NEC, PSV finally convince

BREDA (SW) NAC Breda might lose their Eredisivie lead after being held to a draw by NEC Nijmegen. PSV Eindhoven finally convinced in a 4-0 win over Heracles.

Joint leaders NAC hosted NEC Nijmegen who took the lead through Schöne in the 27th minute. De Graaf did equalise just ahead of the hour mark but NAC lacked a winning goal.

Ajax now have the chance to create a gap when they face AZ Alkmaar on Sunday.

PSV Eindhoven had no difficulties against Heracles Almelo. Maza opened the score on 15 minutes and Ibrahim Affelay doubled the lead 14 minutes later.

Danko Lazovic soon netted the home side’s third and fellow Serbian Dzsudzsak made it 4-0 in the 38th minute. From then on, PSV easily controlled the game to collect three points.
