(GSM) – Sao Paulo are the new leaders in Group 2 of the Copa Libertadores following a convincing 3-0 win over Nacional of Paraguay.
A fully Brazilian Sao Paulo side took the lead through Dagoberto on 30 minutes and Leo Lima made it 2-0 another two minutes later.
And nine minutes into the second half at Sao Paulo’s Morumbi stadium, it was Washington to add a third for the home side.
The Brazilians are now first in Group 2 with nine points from four points, surpassing Colombian side Once Caldas who have a point less.
Nacional remain without points and are no longer in contention for a spot in the next round.
