Nagatomo stunned by Inter move

Inter’s deadline day signing from Cesena, Yuto Nagatomo admits to being surprised by the move to Giuseppe Meazza.

The Japan international arrived to Inter as Davide Santon was loaned to Cesena, and he says he didn’t expect to join the Neroazzurri.

“I am very happy to be at Inter with the world champions,” Nagatomo told club’s official website. “Now I’ll have to show that I know how to play football.

“I didn’t expect what happened. But now I am here to give my maximum.

“Among my new teammates, I already know Samuel Eto’o because I played against him with Japan during the World Cup as is also the case with Wesley Sneijder, but I expect to become a good friend to my new team.”
