Naismith heading towards Everton exit door

Everton forward Steven Naismith is on the verge of securing a move away from Goodison Park, according to Sky Sports.

The Scotland international has been strongly linked with a move to Norwich City, though Toffees manager Roberto Martinez has refused to say which club is involved.

The twenty-nine-year-old moved to the Merseyside club from Rangers in the summer of 2012 and has since racked up one hundred and twenty-three appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring twenty-five goals.

All three of his league strikes this season came in Everton’s shock 3-1 win over champions Chelsea back in September though he has started just four league games since and has only scored for his country.

He has not been involved in any of his sides matches in 2016, with his substitute appearance in the 4-3 defeat to Stoke City on December 28th looking to be his last for the club.
