A report from the Daily Mail suggests that Manchester United winger Nani could be on his way to Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The Portugal international has of course been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after reportedly falling out with the club over a contract extension.
The player wants a new deal to replace the current one he is on, which runs out in 2014, but United are in no rush to offer him one. Now, the winger could be offered to clubs in the transfer window if he does not want to be at the English Premier League leaders.
This news is thought to have caught the attention of Arsene Wenger as he looks to boost his attacking options for the Premier League and Champions League run-in in 2013, so Nani could be just the kind of man he is after.
The Portuguese is of course an experienced player now and has played at the highest level, but his attitude is something that often comes under some scrutiny.
Also, United know that on his day, he can be a real match winner and might not want to sell him to a Premier League rival.
If Wenger wants to splash the cash though, then Sir Alex Ferguson might let him go.
