Nani on Arsenal radar
Daily Star is reporting that Arsenal are lining up a summer swoop for Manchester United winger Nani.
Arsene Wenger reportedly has around £70 million to spend in the upcoming transfer window and he is planning to seriously reinforce the squad.
The Frenchman is now pondering a £15 million bid for the Portugal international as he looks to further improve his attacking department.
Nani is clearly unhappy with his status at Old Trafford and he appears to be heading towards the summer exit.
His position at the club is unlikely to change with the arrival of David Moyes and there is every chance the Red Devils will be looking to cash in on him in the summer.
Nani, 26, has clocked up 135 Premier League appearances since arriving from Sporting Lisbon, scoring 25 goals.
Dortmund to take gamble on Pizarro
Borussia Dortmund are weighing up a shock move for Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro, according to Bild.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed to the German daily that the club are actively working on summer reinforcements.
Werder Bremen defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has agreed to join the Millionaires in the summer, while few more Bundesliga stars are set to follow.
Bild has suggested that Borussia Dortmund officials are working on luring Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro to Signal-Iduna Park.
The 34-year-old is set to leave Alianz Arena when his deal expires in June, and it appears as though Jurgen Klopp is prepared to take a gamble on him.
Despite reaching the final stage of his career, Pizarro has been pretty impressive every time he was called upon this term and Klopp believes his experience would be a huge asset for his youthful side.
The Peruvian forward has scored no less than 13 goals despite playing just over 1,000 minutes of football this season.
Lyon confirm interest in Corchia
French giants Lyon have moved to confirm their interest in signing Sochaux full-back Sebastien Corchia.
With Anthony Reveillere’s contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign, les Gones are actively searching for a new right-sided defender.
They were believed to be showing interest in Sochaux starlet Sebastien Corchia, with Lyon boss Remi Garde confirming the speculations.
“We are interested,” the talented manager said in an interview with French newspaper L’Equipe.
The same source claims the two clubs have already opened talks over the 23-year-old defender, who is seen as a long-term replacement for Anthony Reveillere.
Corchia is also followed by Juventus and Bayern Munich, but it appears he would rather remain in France’s top flight for the foreseeable future.
Corchia joined Sochaux in the summer of 2011 from Le Mans and has since made 65 Ligue 1 appearances for les Lionceaux.
